    In countries without a dedicated nomad visa, tourists typically get 30–90 days on arrival, renewable once via a border crossing or short flight — this is the classic 'visa run'.

    Immigration officers do notice a pattern of constant in-and-out visa runs, and some countries have started pushing back on obvious abuse of tourist visas for long-term residence. If you're staying somewhere for 6+ months, it's worth researching an actual long-stay or nomad visa instead.
